A little Introduction.
Gamer tag Steve dogg 51
My Forza experience is limited. Have competed in a number of race events with a previous group. Which I enjoyed but a became a bit disheartened with the focus on tuning and not close competative racing. Spent several months at the back with little improvement. I branched out into pc racing. R factor 2. Competed in the touring car championship and also the team hard clio cup. I was so impressed d with the close racing that was provided by limiting the running options. However I found the drama attached to PC sim racing a little to much.
Since them I returned back to my usual gaming station and home on gta.
Have been hosting meets in gta for 3 years.
Currently run an off road crew which has 1000 members and includes an active Facebook group/Twitter/website and gta forums thread. Have had several features from rockstar games.
More recently I have worked on a petition for an off road dlc. Putting together a video which received over 40k views and was featured by several large YouTube people including the infamous Mr boss.
With Yellocactus we have run the ROAR events on gta. An attempt of creating. Competstibe racing events on gta. Taking advantage of the ability to be able to create custom tracks. We have hosted rally events, retro racing events and more. While gta is often dismissed as a arcade racing game, I tend to think with the right people and a bit of planning it offers, some excellent competative and fun racing and is s good platform to test and learn a bit of racing etiquette.
Hope to work on a number of series here. I will focus on balanced events . With car choices that are fun to drive for the more experienced whilst remaining forgiving to beginners. I hope this will improving racing skills for all members and give newer members opportunities to race rather than just lapping at the back attempting to avoid spins
