Rallycross on DiRT works the same to lobbies on Forza, players join a Rallycross lobby in Jam Sessions & so on. I have been considering this for a while, with all the Delta Rally stuff I don't have much time to hold a RX series but I have said this many times before: If anyone wants to hold a RX series, feel free to do so & I'll happily help out as an adviser or something similar to that role.
DiRT Rally 2.0 has more WRX tracks & cars than DiRT 4 & DiRT Rally before it, the new game would be a great opportunity to launch a Delta RX (DRX?) series & it's technically circuit racing so some of the Forza guys could try tansfer their skills from the tarmac to the gravel.
If anyone wants to hold a rallycross series, just let me know, I can express some of my knowledge about RX & if the series takes off, I'll change the Delta Rally Calendar to include the series.
So would the general idea be like we do our weekly races? Everyone join a jam session at a certain time, 16 drivers, 4 heats, semis and then finals?
it would be similar to Forza, 4 heats may take too long but if we got the numbers we could definitely fill those heats, should really aim for 12 drivers which would mean 2 6-car Semis with top 3 in each going to the final. The Delta Rally Calendar will be changed this weekend & there will be plenty of time between rally championships for RX events/series.
At this present moment there's no plans for Delta Rallycross on my end anyway, I just don't have the time to run a RX series but like I said if anyone wants to run a RX series for Delta I'll happily promote it & help out if I can.
Only problem with new RX leagues is that the more established leagues like AOR attract nearly all interested players.
