Hi all,
As you'll know by now, at Delta we run a 12 Round Forza Championship followed by a 6 Round Spec Cup and then back to the 12 Round Championship format etc.
However, following the Retro GT Championship we'll be taking a small break from Sunday night Forza racing and instead we'll be hosting a 4 week Project Cars 2 mini Championship.
Does this mean we are moving away from Forza?
No, definitely not.
We feel a 4 week break will hopefully allow Forza to fix some known issues with the game and it also allows the hosts and organisers to take a well deserved Sunday night break. In addition, DOR YelloCactus is working out of the country until July and DOR STEVE911 will be unavailable during April, so having a mini break will work out well for all. This will be the first time in two years we've taken a break from Sunday night hosting!
What will Delta be doing on the four Sunday nights?
DOR Corn Wolf will be hosting a Project Cars 2 (PC2) mini-Championship, starting at our usual time of 2000(UK) Corn Wolf will be explaining the PC2 Championship over the next few days.
What's next for Forza at Delta?
The next Forza Championship will be the Delta Hyper Car Championship which will start 14th April with two practice sessions then into a 12 Round Hyper Car Championship. Following this will be the Delta Audi RS3 Cup. The remainder of the year is in the planning stage and we're confident the remaining Championships and Cups will be well received by everyone.
I hope you understand and appreciate why we are taking a small Forza break but look forward to getting stuck into the Hyper Car Championship in April.
The 2019 Season Schedule has been updated which might explain the plan clearer. The link is above in the main menu.
Me and Steve would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for racing at Delta, to the lobby hosts and especially those who stepped in last minute, DOR Corn Wolf and DOR Cosworth for their continued support and organisation of our Delta teams, to GTR Warwick for the many, many hours he puts in to tuning, balancing of cars and offering us his advice and feedback.
Thank you to DRC Covert for work he's done with DiRT. His enthusiasm and dedication has seen DiRT grow and grow. Although the posts on this forum are relativity low, most of the discussions and chat are on Twitter so if you want to get involved, DWC Covert is the man to see.
If you have any questions, please ask
Yello & Steve
