CARS-700+ cars yay! Oh wait 700 cars from 2 previous titles and previous DLC packs so in essence no new cars FACT! no updated GT cars apart from Mercedes and no current btcc cars. TRACKS-3 new tracks wooooooooo. And even with that said 2 are returning tracks from previous titles. Is it just me or does this feel like the Forza motorsport Frankenstein?
All in all it's a better game. The contact in race appears to be sorted with other drivers and the walls. When you hit a wall it it appears relate to physics much better.
The experience with a wheel is so good. The wheel feels heavy and right. No need to have the softly softly approach of fm6, you can get aggressive, you can correct oversteer easier. The input on peddles seems. More progressive as well.
The car movement and shaking I feel helps this, it gives wheel users another sensory input as to what is happening.
The single player is fun. 2-3 days of solid play should see you starting to get the cars you want. And the cars needed for upcoming championships.
The look of the game is much improved. Weather is great. I personally find the graphics on pc2 very blotchy and pixelated no distance.
There is a massive car choice. Ok we would have liked more updated race cars and say tcc. But there is so much choice for future series there.
Overall it's a very nice extension of fm6, and will provide a fantastic platform for delta to continue on.
It's a shame spectate is. It here from the start. Maybe it will come on wedsnesday with general release ? Myself and cactus have put a lot of planning into the delta ready for the release of fm7, the timing of starting the forum 6 mths ago, was based on nearly 12mths of prep previously. We considered and debated announcing early and working on the super minis. We decided to take the risk. We predicted car availability and buillds might be an issue, but with the cars been hot hatches (not super rare or high powered) we presumed and corectly that they would be readily available and we where right. However we did not predict spectate would not be included from the start ! A curve ball and a half.

I always say that a game is how you make of it as long as the game dynamic is good that's all that matters. If I want a more realistic racing experience I would do sim racing like I have done many times. For a games consloe forza has always been the best for gameplay enjoyment and graphics. More will come I'm sure as next gen gaming is massive and will only get better. Emotorsport is getting more known and with world championships up and coming I'm very excited. FM7 was built with rigs in mind so I'm glad steves feedback is very good to hear
Delta Online Racing Forza 7/ Assetto Corsa/ Project Cars 2
In no way is my comment a review far from it and as always I will reserve judgement once I actually play fm7. My comment is merely a critical view over content that has been made available on the release of the title. I think that to bang on about 700 cars without updating to newer race cars especially is poor but having said that their are many positives such as better dynamics/driving feel/gameplay. It's just disappointing slightly to get hyped up about a title and then realise that the cars are not new even though the title is.

I'm holding out that they put a expansion pack like fm6
Delta Online Racing Forza 7/ Assetto Corsa/ Project Cars 2
Im not comparing with project cars that game is aimed at sim racers using steering wheels, Forza tries to blend the two. You can't please everyone and your entitle to criticise, but myself Im more than happy with FM7 and in my opinion so far nothing beats it on console for use with a control pad.

Well I'll be straight on it when I get it on tuesday
Guys I know how this sounds, but try the 2017 Formula E cars in the Breakout Championship, they're bloody amazing! The sound of the cars isn't too bad, and you can hear every little rattle because of it, the whole car shakes and trembles under high speeds, it's a blast! Easily my favorite thing to drive in FM7 atm.

The best car in the world will not take you to the right place if you do not know where you want to go.
Anyone else experienced tune file overwrites? Every time I save a new tune (#33 Formula E) it overwrites the other, previously saved tunes as well... It's really, really annoying...
