Just read of forza forum that if you change the motion effects to off then restart the demo it shouldn't move around. can confirm this works and now enjoy the game even more now can't wait for release.
I also noticed they now have a little caution come up when a car ahead has gone off.
Just had another session ffb is no better...still zero self aligning torque turn 10 u lie ffb is not fixed...can I cancel and buy PC2
Wheel drivers still ignored...no way will this get a share of the PC Windows market.
Massive let down all that hype was total lies.
When you tune you can raise the caster angle and will help with self align and force feedback.
Yep Craig but the starting point is zero self aligning torque...a basic requirement for any would be SIM. The point is turn 10 have totally failed to live up to the claim they have fixed the ffb. It could have been a great game now for me it's simply a better looking fm6
Some info that might just might be helpful, or am I still in wishful thinking mode.
The center strength of align torque falls into the Force Feedback slider. This is where align torque lives and where the Force Feedback Minimum and Understeer values are intended to help. Our align torque has always come from our extensive tire tests and was defined as the pneumatic trail of the tire. One of the largest changes this time is the addition of mechanical trail. Mechanical trail doesn't diminish as much as pneumatic trail at break-away. This is the missing magic force that makes the wheel follow through in oversteer and we touched on it slightly in FH3 but it was overrun by the spring. It's a double edged sword; more mechanical trail means more subtle feeling at the edge of understeer since there is now another force beyond peak slip angle. Basically, we're trading understeer feel for oversteer feel. Force Feedback Understeer is intended to allow you to find your balance between understeer and oversteer. At the moment, it isn't working as intended.
This brings me to my final point. In working with the Elite I discovered an issue with custom mappings which in some cases is turning off force feedback. The forces you're experiencing may be coming entirely from your wheel and not at all from the game. We're looking into this now.

A few comments that issues may be ironed out for the release on here and other websites. I'm not an expert by any measure but I'd guess there are warehouses full of F7 waiting to be delivered to shops etc so unless the demo is a version of an early working version of F7, surely the demo will be exactly as the launch product?
I'm seriously considering Project Cars... I waited 20 minutes on Nurburg and the time didn't change at all, probably every weather type is scripted. Puddles didn't go away and the track didn't seem to dry up... Unbelievable how a demo can fuck things up for a game...
Project Cars 2 everyone?

A demo should be released to showcase what's coming and to make those people who aren't sure whether or not to buy it, to fall in love with it and part with their cash. Looks like that's not really the case here.

thats why day 1 updates are a thing, devs can keep working on the game up until probably the day before release and then push an update once we finally have the full game

Alright, the weather is not dynamic... You get to set a start race condition, a mid race condition, mid race probability (%), end race conditions and end race probability. It apparently isn't available on all tracks...
