Hi all,
I've updated the mainpage website; although when i say update i mean buy a new domain, buy a hosting package etc and spend bloody hours on it. This forum is the heart of Delta and will never change but the actual Delta Online Racing home page is what potential new drivers will see so it has to sell Delta.
Details on championships, events etc will appear on the Forum first as they do now but will also appear on the home page.
I think it's an improvement but i'd like some feedback.
As I said, the Forum is the heart but over the next few months I will be putting together a new forum. It'll look almost exactly the same with the same layout but with no adverts and the actual software behind is more powerful and in the long term will benefit the admin and user.
Sounds like great news. Big step in the right direction. On a more basic level. Do you think a few random days of a few of us hitting a public lobby with a delta livery and all in the same cars. With a url decal on the bumpers etc. And some kind of slogan inviting players of all levels to come and sign up? I remember when I first started playing I got to a point of frustration in public lobbies and just wished for 1 or 2 people out of the 24 to have a good clean race with. I didn't even know online private leagues even existed until I saw a random guy called super gt in an orl v8 league on youtube.

I think that's an excellent idea Warwick! I run Delta media on all my cars already haha. I think Leagues would be perfect for this with the sim damage we usually run in events as well. I like to believe people in Leagues are a lot less retardish than in the average lobby hoppers. I just think the best chance to find like-minded racers is in Leagues.
