the new visuals are nice but I dont really care for the font they used, the american race coverage is just a crappy rebroadcast of sky f1 now except with lots of comercial breaks
Disappointing start being a Red Bull supporter... I was yelling 'Get In Danny' for the last 10 laps, but it wasn't to be.
Rookie race by Max in my opinion, he got fed up by having a Haas in front and made immature mistakes. The moment he spun that 360 I already felt it coming for a couple of laps, he was all over the place. Turns out he did have minor damage from before, but still. Great tactics and a heap of luck for Ferrari, and a beautiful little 'Baku Payback' 'brake-test' by Vettel at the restart. Driver of the day must be Alonso, 5th in a Mclaren, who'd have thought?
I'm happy we're underway again.

The best car in the world will not take you to the right place if you do not know where you want to go.
Looks like it’s going to be the same procession of cars at the front, whoever gets the first corner lead has won because the cars are so shit at following each other closely (unless it’s via a mistake or safety car, like today). Overtaking via pit stops is as exciting as watching paint dry. Hamilton was waaay faster than Vettel, yet as soon as he gets within a second his he is unable to pass as the cars are so unstable in turbulent air. Looks like another season of boring races with one or two exceptions along the way..........oh, and the Halo is fucking hideous
That halo is proof of health and safety going bonkers and taking the danger element further away from the pinicle of motorsport.
Honestly, I don't see it anymore. It's now a part of F1 and we all have to accept it. This is only the first version of it. Its look will only improve in time. There's a lot more stuff to be angry or frustrated about than a metal bar protecting a driver's head.
If they had it, we would still have Jules Bianchi with us. If it saves a driver's life in 10 years, then it's worth taking away an element of danger.

Not a chance of the halo saving Bianchi, even the FIA admitted this, 92g’s upon impact on his head. Open wheel, open cockpit has always had that risk and element of danger, every driver knows and accepts this, i think it is a step too far. It will split opinion thats for sure, anyone that plays the F1 games and drives in car will no longer be buying that game also
Yeah I have to say that the halo wouldn't have saved Jules in fact the force he came to a stop who is to say the halo wouldn't have fractured and gone through his helmet ? I'm not saying it would have but worse case scenario it could be possible

Halo 100% would have saved justin wilson, the development of the aeroscreen in indycar looks promising after the first test
