I'm pretty new to this whole online league racing and wearing a headset thing so was wondering is it normal for others in the party chat to hear my game volume through my mic? During the 1st Ferarri 360 race at VIR last round I got disconnected from the race quite early on so whilst waiting for the race to finnish I did some building for another championship I compete in and a few of the guys in the race said they could hear the noise from the upgrade shop just the general game volume,
So my question is have I got a doggy headset or is there a setting somewhere I need to adjust as the volume on the TV is on mute I suspect it's a headset issue as it's only a £15 from Amazon but would like to get it sorted as I have to race with the mic on mute and therefore cannot call out if I'm on somebody's inside etc
Sounds like your mic is picking up the sound from the headset, best bet is to buy a slightly more expensive one, turtle beach do a really good entry level headset for around £45 X01’s
Are turtle beach a good brand? What about the recon x50 ever head of them? I only ask because someone is selling a set brand new about 10mins away from me

Me and my son have had many, many headsets over the years including 3 Turtle Beach headsets which in my view are rubbish. They just aren't robust enough and I wouldn't waste my money.
We both bought these from Game and have lasted well over 18 months so far. The sound is fine and I've had no issues with them. The only possible downside is the ear piece could be too small for some. Plus, they cost £15 which is much better than the over priced Turtles.

Cheers for the heads up I'll have a look at those do they have them in store or is it just online?
