Made from 52mm 3.2mm wall tube. I used to make roll cages and winch bumpers from that stuff the shifter is on 15mm solid bar and all the Logitech bits are hard mounted/bolted on. Hope it inspires you lol...get a wheel you won't be faster but it's much more fun It splits to store if ever needed and it's full adjustable as well as recliner race seat.

Cost on that rig was only £80 in steel from my local supplier. Plus £70 for a used seat from a pal who races super saloon stock cars so has good contacts for parts.
Plasma cutter, welder and hydraulic bender I have in the garage. I might make an upstand off the wheel support tube and mount a 32" curved screen in proper real world position from my wheel. Currently have a 50" wall mounted screen
