So I have been playing a fair amount of F1 2018 for almost a week now and I have to say it's pretty good.
What I like:
Multiplayer - Yes there are some dicks and crashes but it is pretty good with a rating system for not just an online level but also safety. You can make mistakes (which you get penalties for if you not only crash but cutting corners) it works really well and if someone hits you 9 times out of 10 you don't get anything. The only issue I have had so far is other racers having a tangle in the race and I weaved my way between them yet I got 3 illegal overtakes, I am presuming this is a bug or something. I am not sure how it is illegal because they were the wrong way but there we go. Other than that multiplayer hoppers are very slick and no issues so far. This is on Xbox and PS4.
Single Player - Pretty good so far, I haven't done anything with the career yet but I might start that tonight. The rest of it time attack etc has been really good, I wanted to get my wheel working with it before I started doing the career there isn't alot to set up just the force feedback and the button mapping are the main things.
The game looks great and in wet weather it's solid. The only thing I dont like is when racing any single seater I prefer to be in cockpit view and because of the halo that F1 cars now have you can't see the breaking line. This is clearly a design fault because in real life you dont get a breaking line so I dont see why they couldn't have done something so you can see it. As it stands I am driving off to one side to see it. Apparently you can turn off the halo but what is the point in that.
Anyway that's just my quick sum up so far.
